Hello,
Thank you so much for inviting me to your site! I am very humbled!
I hope you enjoy my art as much as I like creating it!!

I've been an artist my entire life and love anything that involves creating a beautiful image.

I work in various mediums including but not limited to acrylics, watercolors, oils, markers, color pencils, etc.... With any art that I post, I will happily provide you with the size of the image and materials I used to create my artwork.

Versatility with art and new ideas or subjects intrigue me, so you will see numerous subject matters, mediums, etc. I use for inspiration when I create my pieces.
I've had the privilege of showing my art all over the United States and won various awards from honorable mentions to second place in city wide competitions.

Here is some of my favorite artwork. Watercolors and color pencils.
These are 11" x 15" (27.9 x 38.1 cm) cm x in size.
I used Canson XL Watercolor paper (140 lb (300 g) Cold press)
ARTEZA Watercolor Paint, Set of 36 Assorted Vibrant Colors in Half Pans (in Tin Box)
Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils, Soft Core, 12 count

Below you can see that the girl blowing a kiss was my first attempt at Watercolors and color pencils.
In the learning process, I found I needed more color and vibrancy which you can see in the later works. The original is quite vibrant, however it was not enough to translate well through photography. I do not electronically touch-up any of my pieces.

2nd attempt... Realism was my focus on the subject and the main rose.

More vibrancy and colors were added to this next picture

This was so much fun to create!
91.4 cm x 121.9 cm (3' x 4') Gallery Wrapped Canvas
Modeling paste
DecoArt Dazzling Metallics Metallic Acrylic Paint Pearl White
Folkart assorted colors (Blue and Green) View attachment 29
I texturized the whole canvas first, then painted it a pearlized white
After that I thinned the blues and greens, tilted the canvas up and just applied paint to the bottom and let it run down the canvas.

Here is an example of my process when painting with watercolors
1. I do start out with a basic under drawing
Cowboy-500px-1.jpg

2. I started painting the background next.

3. I need to let the background dry a little, so I am moving on to the hat.

4. Adding more color to the background.

5. I allow the background to dry. I then paint the face and add additional paint splatters to the background.
